Exploring is an exciting program that gives teenagers the opportunity to explore a career area and to also learn teamwork, leadership, and  the importance of community service. Our Post does not focus on just the mechanics of police work, but also on the basic aspects of the legal system, rights of the individual, handling disputes, the art of listening, how to write reports, CPR, and many other topics. Our goal is in helping teenagers become responsible adults, whether they enter the law enforcement profession or not. We have recently been approved to participate in NRA-sponsored pistol training, and will continue to pursue opportunities for our Explorers. .

Our members are eligible for awards and scholarships, and the fun of competition with other Posts.  We also offer promotional opportunities to help the members assume responsibility and accountability within the Post. While our Post has limited openings for new members, we do encourage prospective members to seek more information and to contact us.
